Miasto zawsze wspiera tą szlachetną inicjatywę

W Kędzierzynie-Koźlu chyba nikt nie wyobraża sobie kalendarza imprez sportowych bez Opolskiej Sztafety Pływackiej Olimpiad Specjalnych. W tym roku odbyła się już 12. edycja tej szlachetnej inicjatywy. Wydarzenie aktywizuje nie tylko mieszkańców, ale upamiętnia również św. Jana Pawła II.
Organizacja imprezy odbywa się przy współfinansowaniu ze środków gminy, a swoim honorowym patronatem obejmuje je prezydent Sabina Nowosielska. Pomysłodawca sztafety Ewa Hałambiec podziękowała za otrzymane wsparcie i pomoc przy realizacji przedsięwzięcia. Jak zawsze było warto, bo w tym roku uczestnicy memoriału ku czci papieża przepłynęli 29 670 basenów.
