Mknęli, ile sił w płucach i nogach

Leśne tereny w Śródmieściu stały się areną kolarskich zmagań. Ponad 200 zawodników z Polski mierzyło się w Kędzierzynie-Koźlu z niełatwą trasą wyścigu przełajowego „Niepodległa” im. Wernera Lepicha.

Na kolarzy czekała pętla o długości 2,6 kilometra. W zależności od kategorii wiekowej sportowcy mieli na pokonanie jak największej liczby okrążeń od 20 do 60 minut. Na trasie czekał na nich piasek, leśne dukty, podjazdy i zjazdy.

Organizatorem zawodów było Odrzańskie Konsorcjum. Imprezę dofinansowała gmina Kędzierzyn-Koźle, a prezydent Sabina Nowosielska objęła ją honorowym patronatem.

Jutro (21.11) czekają nas kolejne kolarskie emocje. Tym razem sportowcy będą rywalizować w ramach III Cross Kędzierzyn TRIBIKE.
