W ostatni dzień stycznia spotkają się po raz pierwszy w nowym roku miejscy radni. M.in. zdecydują oni o losach nazw kilku ulic w Kędzierzynie-Koźlu. Nowe miana mają uzyskać ul. Przodowników Pracy w Azotach, ul. Leona Kruczkowskiego w Sławięcicach i ul. Wincentego Pstrowskiego w Blachowni. Swoje imię ma też otrzymać nowe rondo na skrzyżowaniu al. Jana Pawła II, ul. 1 Maja i Miłej. Radni będą również dyskutować o inicjatywie wzniesienia pomnika marszałka Józefa Piłsudskiego.
Wśród przygotowanych projektów uchwał znajdują się też Gminny program ochrony zdrowia psychicznego na lata 2018-2022, zmiana regulaminu udzielania pomocy materialnej o charakterze socjalnym dla uczniów zamieszkałych na terenie miasta; plan pracy Rady Miasta Kędzierzyn-Koźle na rok 2018 i sprawozdanie Komisji Rewizyjnej RMKK z działalności w 2017 roku.
