W Kędzierzynie-Koźlu znów stacjonował pruski oddział, a na Blachowni było nawet słychać huk muszkietów. Pierwsze zawody strzeleckie z broni czarnoprochowej były gratką dla miłośników militariów i lokalnej historii.
Rywalizacja na strzelnicy sportowej przyciągnęła nie tylko zawodników z najbliższej okolicy, ale również Marka Pysznego - wielokrotnego mistrza Polski, uczestnika mistrzostw Europy i Świata. Strzelcowi z Gliwic ręka praktycznie ani razu nie zadrżała. W konkurencji rewolwer i karabin nie miał sobie równych.
Organizatorem zawodów było Kozielskie Stowarzyszenie Rekonstrukcji Historycznej w Kędzierzynie-Koźlu. Projekt był współfinansowany ze środków gminy. Galerię zdjęciową z imprezy można znaleźć na miejskim facebooku.
