Biegacze opanowali centrum Śródmieścia

Około 220 zawodników pokonało leśno-asfaltową trasę biegu „GAZ-System na piątkę!”. W tym roku mierzyli się nie tylko z przeciwnikami, ale i pogodą. Aura wyjątkowo dopisała i słońce zdecydowanie podniosło temperaturę rywalizacji.
Dorośli mieli do przebiegnięcia dwa okrążenia o łącznej długości 5 kilometrów. Wśród nich znalazła się także prezydent Sabina Nowosielska. Przed kategorią OPEN odbyły się jednak zaganiania dzieci i młodzieży. Na starcie stanęło blisko 270 młodych adeptów. Bez względu na wiek na mecie na każdego czekał pamiątkowy medal.
Była to już 9. edycja wydarzenia, która na stałe wpisała się w harmonogram imprez Miejskiego Ośrodka Sportu i Rekreacji. Sponsorem biegu jest Operator Gazociągów Przesyłowych GAZ-SYSTEM S.A.
