W kawiarni "Athena" odbyły się obchody Międzynarodowego Dnia Białej Laski. Świętowali go niedowidzący i niewidomi z koła Polskiego Związku Niewidomych w Kędzierzynie-Koźlu.
Najlepsze życzenia złożyły im prezydent miasta Sabina Nowosielska, starosta powiatu Małgorzata Tudaj, Agata Morkis - zastępca dyrektora Miejskiego Ośrodka Pomocy Społecznej i Krystyna Pacholik, prezes zarządu Okręgu Opolskiego PZN.
Spotkanie było okazją do zaprezentowania się nowego zarządu koła. Jego prezes pozostała Łucja Iłowska. W trakcie nie zabrakło poczęstunku, muzyki i dobrej zabawy.
