Najwyższa frekwencja w historii

Niedzielna druga tura wzbudziła większe zainteresowanie kędzierzynian niż jakiekolwiek dotychczasowe wybory prezydenckie. Zdecydowana większość z nich odwiedziła lokale wyborcze, blisko 300 zagłosowało korespondencyjnie.
Łącznie swój obywatelski obowiązek spełniło 27.737 mieszkańców miasta, którzy oddali 27.480 ważnych głosów. Frekwencja osiągnęła 62,31 proc.
Wybory w Kędzierzynie-Koźlu wygrał Rafał Trzaskowski. Na podstawie cząstkowych danych z 99,97 proc. obwodów Prezydentem RP na kadencję 2020-2025 został wybrany Andrzej Duda.
Wyniki w Kędzierzynie-Koźlu:
1. Rafał Trzaskowski 16.583 (60,35 proc.)
2. Andrzej Duda 10.897 (39,65 proc.)
