W tym turnieju nie było straconych piłek. Gra toczyła się o wysoką stawkę - tytuł Mistrza Miasta Amatorów w tenisie ziemnym.
Przez kilka tygodni Miejski Ośrodek Sportu i Rekreacji do gry na kortach przy ulicy Grabskiego zapraszał zawodników rywalizujących o miano najlepszej rakiety w regionie. W Kędzierzynie-Koźlu prym pod siatką wiodą Tomasz Antosiak (do 44 lat), Adam Pielka (do 45 lat) i Anna Pękala (kobiety).
