Czy powietrze, którym oddychamy ma wpływ na zdrowie? W jakim zakresie na nasze samopoczucie oddziałuje przemysł ulokowany w innym mieście, a w jakim najbliższy sąsiad palący odpadami w piecu? Czy Czesi mają podobne problemy z zanieczyszczeniami?
Być może odpowiedzi na te pytania padną podczas seminarium pt. „Wpływ zanieczyszczenia powietrza na zdrowie ludności w obszarze polsko-czeskiego pogranicza (HEALTHAIR)”. Spotkanie jest częścią międzynarodowego projektu realizowanego przy wsparciu środków unijnych przez Oddział Inżynierii Procesowej Materiałów Budowlanych w Opolu oraz Instytut Meteorologii i Gospodarki Wodnej PIB – Zakład w Katowicach wraz z partnerami czeskimi: Vysoká škola báňská - Technická univerzita Ostrava i Ostravská univerzita.
