Prezydent Sabina Nowosielska zasłużona dla sportu

Sabina Nowosielska otrzymała odznakę „Za Zasługi dla Sportu”. O uhonorowanie prezydenta Kędzierzyna-Koźla zawnioskował zarząd Polskiej Ligi Siatkówki, a uroczystość odbyła się podczas meczu o AL-KO Superpuchar Polski w katowickim „Spodku”. Wyróżnienie wręczył minister Kamil Bortniczuk.
Ceremonia poprzedziła wielkie widowisko, jakim niewątpliwie był pojedynek najlepszych siatkarskich drużyn w kraju. Naprzeciw siebie stanęli zwycięzca Ligi Mistrzów oraz zdobywca Pucharu Polski Grupa Azoty ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle oraz mistrz Polski Jastrzębski Węgiel.
Po niezwykle zaciętym i emocjonującym meczu pierwsze trofeum w nowym sezonie wznieśli zawodnicy z Opolszczyzny.
