WOPR-owcy na medal

W basenie czują się jak u siebie! Na pływalni w Śródmieściu młodzi WOPR-owcy rywalizowali o medale i tytuły najlepszych w Polsce. Do naszego miasta przyjechała krajowa elita. Grand Prix w sportowym ratownictwie wodnym po raz kolejny rozegrano w Kędzierzynie-Koźlu.
Sygnał do startu dla ścisłej czołówki dał zastępca prezydenta Wojciech Jagiełło. W zawodach udział wzięło ponad 120 zawodników z 12 klubów. Gospodarze z MUKS WOPR Kędzierzyn-Koźle sięgnęli po 30 medali, w tym 10 złotych, 12 srebrnych i 8 brązowych. Ponadto poprawili 4 rekordy kraju.
Rozegrane na Opolszczyźnie zawody były ostatnim etapem przygotowań do zbliżających się Mistrzostw Polski w Poznaniu. Impreza odbyła się pod honorowym patronatem prezydent Sabiny Nowosielskiej. Galerię zdjęciową z wydarzenia można znaleźć na miejskim facebooku.
