Benicna idzie za ciosem

Po medalach wywalczonych w połowie maja przez juniorów młodszych w ich ślady poszli starsi koledzy z drużyny. Reprezentanci klubu Beninca UKS Feniks Kędzierzyn-Koźle z mistrzostw Polski U-19 i U-23 w badmintonie wrócili z 5 krążkami.
Nasze miasto podczas zawodów w Markach reprezentowali Dominika Kwaśnik, Mikołaj Szymanowski i Karol Budny. Cała trójka trenująca pod okiem trenera Krzysztofa Maślanki zaprezentowała się znakomicie. Wszyscy stanęli na podium łącznie zdobywając dwa złota, jedno srebro i dwa brązy.
Klasyfikacja medalowa:
Mikołaj Szymanowski – srebrny medal w grze pojedynczej oraz złoty medal w grze podwójnej w parze z Adrianem Krawczykiem z Warszawy.
Dominika Kwaśnik – złoty medal w grze podwójnej w parze z Wiktorią Adamek z Warszawy oraz brązowy medal w mikście z Maciejem Matuszem z Warszawy.
Karol Budny – srebrny medal w grze podwójnej z Wiktorem Grzybem z Straszęcina.
