Biegowy weekend w Kędzierzynie-Koźlu

W nogach poczuli 42 kilometry i 195 metrów. 119 śmiałków podjęło skutecznie wyzwanie i dobiegło do mety Maratonu Odrzańskiego. Najszybszy był Rafał Czarnecki, który całą trasę pokonał w 2 godziny, 31 minut i 31 sekund. Wśród pań triumfowała jego żona Lidia, z czasem 3 godziny, 13 minut i 5 sekund.
Długodystansowcom na ulicach Kędzierzyna-Koźla towarzyszyły także 23 sztafety składające się z czterech biegaczy każda. Drużynowo zwyciężyła ekipa reprezentująca Klub Sportowy „Koziołek”.
Niedzielne święto biegaczy poprzedziła rywalizacja najmłodszych. Ponad 200 uczestników wystartowało w imprezie "Mały, większy, największy. Zostań maratończykiem". Biegi dla dzieci i młodzieży odbyły się na różnych dystansach, począwszy od 100 metrów dla maluchów, do 1 kilometra dla najwytrwalszych.
Organizatorem sportowego weekendu w Kędzierzynie-Koźlu było Konsorcjum Odrzańskie. Imprezy były współfinansowane ze środków budżetu gminy.
