Gliwicka oficjalnie otwarta

Wyremontowany fragment drogi wojewódzkiej nr 408 biegnący przez Kędzierzyn-Koźle został oficjalnie oddany do użytku. Kompleksowo przebudowany 1,5 kilometrowy odcinek ulicy Gliwickiej wzbogacił się o bezpieczną ścieżkę rowerową.
Największą nowością jest jednak rondo, które powstało na styku z ulicą Krokusów. Zakres inwestycji obejmował także budowę nowych chodników, zatok autobusowych, zjazdów, przejść dla pieszych, kanalizacji deszczowej. Wartość całego zadania wyniosło ponad 11 milionów złotych.
W uroczystym zakończeniu inwestycji wicemarszałkowi Szymonowi Ogłazie towarzyszyli m.in. prezydent Sabina Nowosielska wraz z zastępcą Arturem Maruszczakiem, przewodniczący rady miasta Ireneusz Wiśniewski, starosta Paweł Masełko oraz radni wojewódzcy Brygida Kolenda-Łabuś i Robert Węgrzyn.
