Henryk Szymura wicemistrzem świata!

Nigdy nie jest za późno, aby zostać mistrzem. Pochodzący z Kędzierzyna-Koźla Henryk Szymura został srebrnym medalistą mistrzostw świata w biegu przez płotki. Nasz lekkoatleta wystąpił w kategorii wiekowej 70+, jednak formy może pozazdrościć mu niejeden nastolatek. Dystans 80 metrów pokonał w zaledwie 13,04 sekundy ustanawiając w ten sposób rekord Polski.
Tytuł wicemistrza świata przywieziony z Tampere w Finlandii to ukoronowanie długiej listy dotychczasowych sukcesów Henryka Szymury. Na swoim koncie ma on już dwa złote medale z halowych mistrzostw Polski oraz złoto i brąz przywiezione z Portugalii. Już kilka tygodni temu na tegorocznych letnich mistrzostwach Polski w Toruniu mogliśmy zobaczyć wspaniałą dyspozycję zawodnika z Kędzierzyna-Koźla, który w trakcie tych zawodów ustanowił dwa rekordy Polski, za które zgarnął kolejne złote krążki.
