Mistrzowie dwóch kółek

Przepisy ruchu drogowego mają w jednym palcu, a jazdę na rowerze opanowali do perfekcji. Zespół Szkolno-Przedszkolny nr 1 w Kędzierzynie-Koźlu był gospodarzem VIII Ogólnopolskiego Turnieju BRD. Z torem przeszkód i testem z pierwszej pomocy zmierzyło się kilkudziesięciu zawodników z najróżniejszych zakątków Polski.
Zawody rozgrywane były w dwóch kategoriach szkół podstawowych: grup młodszych i grup starszych. W rolę sędziów wcielili się policjanci i strażacy z kędzierzyńsko-kozielskich komend oraz członkowie Polskiego Związku Motorowego z Opola i Kędzierzyna-Koźla. Do Kędzierzyna-Koźla przyjechały reprezentacje ośmiu województw: lubelskiego, warmińsko-mazurskiego, małopolskiego, łódzkiego, opolskiego, podkarpackiego, śląskiego i zachodniopomorskiego.
