Trzech „muszkieterów” z UKS Olimpijczyk ponownie udowodniło, że należą do ścisłej krajowej czołówki. Zawodnicy z Kędzierzyna-Koźla doskonale zaprezentowali się podczas Pucharu Polski Seniorów w zapasach w stylu klasycznym w Radomiu.
Najlepiej z całej trójki podopiecznych Bogusława Metela wypadł Grzegorz Hildebrand. Nastolatek z Kędzierzyna-Koźla nie miał sobie równych w kategorii wagowej do 55 kg pewnie sięgając po złoto. Dosłownie o włos z brązowym medalem rozminął się Kevin Metel docierając aż do półfinału. Wracający do formy po przebytej kontuzji Piotr Duk zajął wysokie siódme miejsce.
W silnie obsadzonym turnieju w Radomiu wystartowało blisko 100 zapaśników z 19 klubów.
