Syreny zawyją na cześć powstańców

1 sierpnia o godzinie 17:00 zawyją syreny. Kędzierzyn-Koźle, jak wiele polskich miast, w ten symboliczny sposób upamiętni 75. rocznicę wybuchu Powstania Warszawskiego.
Gdy tylko wybije godzina „W” nadany zostanie trzyminutowy ciągły sygnał dźwiękowy. Poświęćmy wtedy mieszkańcom niezłomnego miasta chwilę zadumy.
Uruchomienie syren pozwoli również na przetestowanie sprawności systemu ostrzegania i alarmowania ludności.
