Młodzi piłkarze z PSP nr 19 wicemistrzami Polski! Nasi chłopcy zajęli drugie miejsce podczas Finałów Igrzysk Dzieci w kategorii U-13. To jeden z największych sukcesów sportowych w historii szkoły.
W trakcie turnieju w Głuchołazach srebrni medaliści z Kędzierzyna-Koźla rozegrali aż 10 spotkań, nie przegrywając żadnego meczu! Bilans siedmiu zwycięstw i trzech remisów zapewnił im drugą lokatę na podium. Do pełni szczęścia zabrakło naprawdę niewiele.
Drużyna trenowana przez Jana Węgrzyna pokazała ogromny charakter, zmagając się z plagą kontuzji. Dodatkowo tytuł króla strzelców zdobył Marcel Kondraciuk, który strzelił aż 15 bramek!
