Pierwsze bramki zdobywał dla Chemika Kędzierzyn-Koźle, dziś reprezentuje barwy Górnika Zabrze, a kolejnym celem jest trafienie do siatki dla reprezentacji Polski U-17 w eliminacjach do EURO 2026. Marcel Płocica z Kędzierzyna-Koźla konsekwentnie rozwija swój piłkarski talent, czego potwierdzeniem jest powołanie do kadry narodowej.
Utalentowany nastolatek wyróżnia się obecnie w Centralnej Lidze Juniorów U-19 jako jeden z czołowych strzelców Górnika Zabrze. Niedawno zadebiutował także w drugim zespole seniorskim klubu, występującym w III lidze. Już w pierwszym meczu zdobył bramkę, potwierdzając swój snajperski instynkt.
