Historia pisana medalami

Na swoim koncie mają zapewne tysiące medali. Trudno je wszystkie zliczyć, gdy patrzymy na bogatą historię MMKS Kędzierzyn-Koźle. Międzyszkolny Miejski Klub Sportowy świętuje 25-lecia istnienia. Przez te ćwierć wieku wyszkolił kolejne pokolenia młodych sportowców.
Przy MMKS Kędzierzyn-Koźle działa obecnie sześć sekcji: pływacka, lekkoatletyczna, koszykarska (kobiet i mężczyzn), siatkarska (kobiet i mężczyzn), tenisa stołowego oraz strzelecka. Z okazji jubileuszu najlepsze życzenia działaczom i wszystkim zawodnikom złożył Wojciech Jagiełło, zastępca prezydenta Kędzierzyna-Koźla. Święto MMKS zbiegło się z wyborem nowych władz klubu. Ze stanowiska prezesa zrezygnował Piotr Nippe. Jego miejsce zajął Marek Skrzydlewski.
