Już 800 lat temu pisano o Koźlu

Pierwsza wzmianka na temat naszego miasta pojawiła się już osiem wieków temu. Dokument wydany w 1222 r. przez księcia Kazimierza I Opolskiego wspomina o kasztelanie kozielskim Naczęsławie. Cenny pergamin wraz z kolekcją zabytkowych monet można podziwiać w Muzeum Ziemi Kozielskiej. Zabytki dostępne będą do końca lutego.
„Skarb kozielski” ze zbiorów Muzeum Śląska Opolskiego będzie można już zobaczyć na własne oczy. Otwarcia wystawy dokonały prezydent Sabina Nowosielska i dyrektor Izabela Migocz. Wydarzeniu towarzyszył wykład dr hab. Marcina Böhma pt. „Koźle jako gród »graniczny« za panowania pierwszych Piastów” oraz prezentacja rekonstrukcji średniowiecznego uzbrojenia.
