Kolejne pokolenie zapaśników z Kędzierzyna-Koźla

UKS "Olimpijczyk" kuźnią sportowych talentów. Do grona utytułowanych zapaśników z Kędzierzyna-Koźla dołącza następne pokolenie. Adepci jednej z najstarszych dyscyplin sportowych na świecie rywalizowali podczas międzynarodowego turnieju w Krnovie.
Na macie stanęło blisko 150 zawodników z 14 klubów z Polski, Słowacji i Czech. Nasi reprezentanci sięgnęli po 6 medali, w tym 4 złote (Antoni Fido – 25 kg, Bartek Tyliszczak – 52 kg, German Shulha – 35 kg, Lena Bejno – 32 kg), 1 srebrny (Zofia Hałambiec - 26 kg) oraz 1 brązowy (Stanisław Hałambiec – 22 kg).
Za przygotowanie i szkolenie młodych klasyków odpowiada trenerskie trio: Bogusław Metel, Piotr Duk i Mateusz Zybała.
