W sąsiedztwie tych dwóch cieków wodnych od 35 lat funkcjonuje Rodzinny Ogród Działkowy "Miedarska Huta".
Gratulacje w imieniu władz miasta przekazał sekretarz Zbigniew Romanowicz, a w imieniu Polskiego Związku Działkowców Antoni Falkowski, członek rady okręgowej. Wyróżnienia odebrały też osoby najbardziej angażujące się w życie ogrodu i właściciele najładniejszych działek.
