Piątka wspaniałych z Kędzierzyna-Koźla

Kędzierzyńsko-kozielski akcent na mistrzostwach świata w sportowym ratownictwie wodnym. W 24-osobowej kadrze Polski znalazło się aż pięciu zawodników reprezentujących barwy MUKS WOPR. Wśród nich Maksymilian Topolnicki, który z odległej Australii wraca z dwoma medalami.
Nasz zawodnik startujący w sztafecie sięgnął po złoto, pobijając przy okazji rekord świata, w konkurencji 4x50 m z przeszkodami. Natomiast srebrny krążek zdobył z kolegami holując manekina na dystansie 25 metrów.
Klub z Kędzierzyna-Koźla reprezentowały także Aneta Drabik, Aleksandra Cieplak, Joanna Czok i Victoria Kocjan. Dziewczyny również wypadły znakomicie docierając kilkukrotnie do finałów.
