Pierwszy zielony przystanek oddany do użytku

W mieście powstał pierwszy „zielony przystanek”. Wiata nr 181 przy ulicy Piastowskiej zakwitła bluszczem, a obok nasadzono ozdobne trawy i krzewy. Rosnące tam rośliny oczyszczą powietrze, obniżą temperaturę, dadzą cień i poprawią miejską estetykę.
Kędzierzyn-Koźle stał się jednym z nielicznych miast w Polsce, które może pochwalić się podobnym rozwiązaniem. Oddanie zielonej wiaty do użytku zainaugurowało również miejskie obchody Europejskiego Tygodnia Zrównoważonego Transportu.
