Powiatowy lekarz weterynarii zniósł strefę zapowietrzoną i zagrożoną wystąpieniem wysoce zjadliwej grypy ptaków w powiecie kędzierzyńsko-kozielskim. Mimo to na terenie całego kraju nadal obowiązują restrykcje wprowadzone przez ministra rolnictwa i rozwoju wsi.
W dalszym ciągu należy m.in. trzymać drób w zamknięciu, stosować maty dezynfekcyjne przed wejściami do budynków gospodarskich, czyścić i odkażać sprzęt używany przy hodowli oraz przechowywać paszę i wodę dla drobiu w sposób zabezpieczający przed kontaktem z dzikim ptactwem. Konieczność dalszego stosowania środków ostrożności wynika z wysokiego ryzyka wystąpienia nowych ognisk tej choroby.
