Pamiętamy o bohaterach i ofiarach tamtych tragicznych dni... I będziemy pamiętać.
Polski wysiłek w walce z dwoma okupantami i 6 mln polskich ofiar podczas II wojny światowej przypomniał podczas uroczystości w Kędzierzynie-Koźlu sekretarz miasta Zbigniew Romanowicz. Rocznicę jej wybuchu uczczono złożeniem kwiatów pod pomnikiem ofiar wojny w parku Pojednania i mszą św. za Ojczyznę. W uroczystości wzięli udział przedstawiciele samorządów, poczty sztandarowe szkół, służb mundurowych i organizacji oraz mieszkańcy.
