Hodowcy drobiu powinni zachować czujność i nie lekceważyć żadnych sygnałów, które mogłyby świadczyć o zarażeniu stada przez wirus HPAI. Aby zminimalizować ryzyko jego przeniesienia do gospodarstwa należy stosować się do zasad, z którymi można się zapoznać na poniższej ulotce. Ponadto każde podejrzenie wystąpienia grypy ptaków należy niezwłocznie zgłosić odpowiednim osobom lub instytucjom (lekarzom weterynarii, urzędom gmin).
