Deszczowa pogoda być może odstraszyła grzybiarzy, ale na pewno nie zniechęciła biegaczy. Na leśnych duktach można było spotkać blisko 200 zawodników startujących w ramach Festiwalu „Dzień dobry Kędzierzyn-Koźle”.
Na śmiałków czekały przygotowane trzy różne trasy o dystansach: 12, 22 i 44 kilometry. Imprezę organizowaną przez stowarzyszenie "Fabryka Aktywności XYZ" swoim honorowym patronatem objęła prezydent Sabina Nowosielska, która osobiście podjęła wyzwanie i zameldowała się na linii mety.
