Bitwa, która przesądziła o historii Polski

Bitwa Warszawska wpłynęła nie tylko na dzieje naszego kraju, ale i całego świata. 100 lat temu Wojsko Polskie stoczyło jedną z najważniejszych batalii w historii swojego oręża. Było to jednocześnie decydujące starcie w wojnie polsko-bolszewickiej, które zatrzymało pochód Armii Czerwonej na Europę.
Bitwa Warszawska rozpoczęła się 13 sierpnia i trwała do 25 sierpnia 1920 r. W setną rocznicę tych przełomowych dla Polski wydarzeń przedstawiciele gminy Kędzierzyn-Koźle, starostwa powiatowego, organizacji patriotycznych i mieszkańcy złożyli kwiaty pod pomnikiem marszałka Józefa Piłsudskiego, jednego z głównych architektów tego historycznego zwycięstwa.
