Dobry start na Ogólnopolskiej Olimpiadzie Młodzieży

Kolejne dwa medale w kolekcji i wysokie szóste miejsce w klasyfikacji drużynowej. Ekipa Beninca UKS Feniks może uznać swój start w Ogólnopolskiej Olimpiadzie Młodzieży za bardzo udany. W Piotrkowie Trybunalskim rywalizowali najlepsi badmintoniści w kraju w kategorii U17.
Z Kędzierzyna-Koźla na turnieju zaprezentowało się sześcioro młodych sportowców. Na podium stanęły dwie nasze zawodniczki. Lena Maślanka, grając w parze z Kacprem Grabarzem z UKS Korona Pabianice, sięgnęła po brązowy medal w grze mieszanej. Z kolei Maja Zmarz wspólnie z Nataszą Putałą z AZS Katowice wywalczyła srebro w grze podwójnej.
Na korcie z dobrej strony pokazali się także Zuzanna Baran, Antonina Cybulska, Stanisław Kacharczyk i Antoni Saska.
