Dyskiem rzucił po złoto

Do grona utytułowanych lekkoatletów z naszego miasta dołączył Jakub Korejba. 17-latek został mistrzem Polski U18 w rzucie dyskiem. Zawodnik LUKS Chemik Kędzierzyn-Koźle podczas zawodów w Radomiu nie tylko zostawił swoich przeciwników daleko w tyle, ale ustanowił również nowy rekord życiowy.
Podopieczny trenera Adama Domina złoty medal zapewnił sobie rzutem na odległość 57 metrów i 87 centymetrów. Jednocześnie zdobył tym samym minimum kwalifikacyjne do Mistrzostw Europy. Świeżo upieczony mistrz Polski jest teraz w szczycie formy. Dwa tygodnie temu na zawodach w Opolu ustanowił nowy rekord województwa w pchnięciu kulą. Wynosi on obecnie 18 metrów i 6 centymetrów.
