Na placu Komendy Powiatowej Państwowej Straży Pożarnej w Kędzierzynie-Koźlu odbył się uroczysty apel z okazji Dnia Strażaka. Podczas obchodów nie zabrakło słów podziękowań, wręczono awanse i odznaczenia.
Do służby oficjalnie włączono nowoczesny wóz-drabinę, a dwie jednostki OSP z Kędzierzyna-Koźla (OSP Miejsce Kłodnickie oraz OSP ORW Koźle) decyzją Komendanta Głównego w dalszym ciągu będą dbać o bezpieczeństwo mieszkańców w ramach Krajowego Systemu Ratowniczo-Gaśniczego.
