Amatorzy wyszli na korty. Na obiekcie przy ul. Grabskiego rozegrano drugą z pięciu rund Mistrzostw Miasta Amatorów w Tenisie Ziemnym. W zawodach pod honorowym patronatem prezydent Sabiny Nowosielskiej bierze udział kilkunastu sportowców.
Zwycięzcą majowego turnieju w kategorii 44 lat i młodsi został Tomasz Antosiak, natomiast w kategorii 45 lat i starsi zwyciężył Tomasz Królewicz. Miejski Ośrodek Sportu i Rekreacji następne zmagania zaplanował w połowie czerwca.
