Goście zza wielkiej wody

Mieszkający na co dzień w Kanadzie Grzegorz Waśniewski był gościem specjalnym Kresowian z naszego miasta. Komendant Stowarzyszenia Józefa Piłsudskiego „Orzeł Strzelecki” odebrał honorowe odznaczenie kędzierzyńsko-kozielskiej organizacji z rąk prezesa Witolda Listowskiego.
Zebrani odśpiewali hymn Związku Sybiraków, następnie wysłuchali prelekcji na temat sytuacji Kresowian w Kanadzie. Wykład przedstawiciela Polonii był okazją do szerszej dyskusji i zadawania pytań. Spotkanie w którym uczestniczyła prezydent Sabina Nowosielska odbyło się w sali żyrandolowej Domu Kultury "Koźle".
