Ich muzyczna podróż trwa już 15 lat

Już od 15 lat swoim śpiewem oczarowują publiczność. Chór "Cantabile" z Kędzierzyna-Koźla świętuje jubileusz występów na scenie. Z tej okazji na deskach Domu Kultury "Chemik" odbył się wyjątkowy koncert. Sala pękała w szwach.
"Cantabile" jest chórem mieszanym, czterogłosowym, złożonym z osób dorosłych. Od 15 lat działa przy Miejskim Ośrodku Kultury i od samego początku jego dyrygentem jest Jolanta Stefaniak. Zespół wykonuje a cappella repertuar religijny i świecki polskich i zagranicznych kompozytorów.
Chór występuje na licznych konkursach, festiwalach i przeglądach. Do jego największych osiągnięć należy:
- II miejsce na Festiwalu Pieśni Patriotycznej „Tobie Polsko” w Olszance w 2008 r.
- I miejsce na Festiwalu Pieśni Patriotycznej „Tobie Polsko” w Olszance w 2013 r.
- Grand Prix na Festiwalu Pieśni Patriotycznej „Tobie Polsko” w Olszance w 2014 r.
- III miejsce na Festiwalu Pieśni pasyjnej i pokutnej w Skarbimierzu w 2016 r.
- III miejsce na Festiwalu Pieśni pasyjnej i pokutnej w Skarbimierzu w 2017 r.
- III miejsce na Festiwalu Pieśni pasyjnej i pokutnej w Skarbimierzu w 2019 r.
