Uczestnicy rajdu turystyczno-nawigacyjnego "Rally Gala" pierwszy odcinek trasy zaliczyli po zmierzchu. Następnego dnia z samego rana ruszyli na drugi etap wojaży. Mapa prowadziła ich po całym mieście.
W ten sposób uczestnicy imprezy wspólnie z Automobilklubem Kędzierzyńsko-Kozielskim sprawdzali swoje umiejętności za kółkiem w różnych warunkach. Aby nie pobłądzili dopingował ich zastępca prezydenta Wojciech Jagiełło. W rajdzie wzięło udział 27 załóg, między innymi z Polski, Słowacji, Czech, Rumunii, Węgier.
