10. kwietnia w Kędzierzynie-Koźlu nie będą uruchamiane syreny alarmowe. Taką decyzję podjęła prezydent miasta. – Dla naszych gości z Ukrainy dźwięk ten kojarzy się z wojną. Nie chcemy w ten sposób wywoływać niepotrzebnego stresu i niepokoju – podkreśla Sabina Nowosielska.
Syreny miały zostać włączone w ramach ogólnopolskiej akcji Ministerstwa Spraw Wewnętrznych i Administracji. Jutrzejszy test urządzeń zaplanowany na godziną 8:41 miał być również formą upamiętnienia 12. rocznicy katastrofy smoleńskiej.
Wielu włodarzy w kraju zdecydowało jednak, że nie uruchomi sygnałów alarmowych z uwagi na przebywających w ich miejscowościach uchodźców z Ukrainy.
