Podczas pierwszych zawodów trudne warunki postawili nie tyle przeciwnicy, co pogoda. Kapryśna aura nie zniechęciła jednak pretendentów do tytułu Mistrza Miasta Amatorów w tenisie ziemnym.
Zmagania organizowane przez Miejski Ośrodek Sportu i Rekreacji odbywają się na kortach przy ul. Grabskiego. Na mączce na osiedlu Azoty rozgrywane są mecze w trzech kategoriach, a przed nami jeszcze cztery pełne emocji turnieje. Rywalizacja potrwa do września.
