Jakub Korejba w międzynarodowej czołówce. Utalentowany lekkoatleta z Kędzierzyna-Koźla zajął znakomite dziesiąte miejsce w finale pchnięcia kulą na mistrzostwach świata U20. To jednak nie koniec jego przygody w Kolumbii. Nasz zawodnik wystartuje jeszcze w eliminacjach rzutu dyskiem.
Gospodarzem najważniejszej juniorskiej imprezy sezonu jest Cali. Pierwszego dnia zawodów rozegrane zostały eliminacje w koronnej dyscyplinie naszego reprezentanta. Wynik 18,37 m dał mu przepustkę do finału, gdzie o medale biła się już najlepsza dwunastka kulomiotów na świecie. Ostatecznie mistrz Polski zajął 10. lokatę.
Jakuba Korejbę na mistrzostwach świata zobaczymy jeszcze w konkurencji rzutu dyskiem.
