Podwójny paraolimpijczyk z Kędzierzyna-Koźla swój pierwszy międzynarodowy turniej w tym roku rozegrał w Hiszpanii. Bartłomiej Mróz podczas Spanish Parabadminton International sięgnął po srebrny medal. Dokonał tego w grze podwójnej wraz ze swoim partnerem Tay Wei Mingiem.
Jak się okazało polsko-singapurski duet mecz finałowy przegrał nie tyle z rywalami, ale co ze zdrowiem. Stoczenie pojedynku o złoto uniemożliwiła drobna kontuzja. Silny ból w obręczy barkowej był efektem przeciążenia. Bartłomiej Mróz miał już bowiem na koncie kilka zaciętych pojedynków w rywalizacji singlowej, którą zakończył na ćwierćfinałach.
