Miejsce akcji ratunkowej na ulicy Czerwińskiego jest pod stałym monitoringiem władz Kędzierzyna-Koźla. Działania pracujących na miejscu służb są wspierane przez gminę w każdy możliwy sposób.
Prezydent Sabina Nowosielska, razem ze swoim zastępcą Wojciechem Jagiełło wzięli udział w odprawie sztabu dowodzenia, któremu przewodzi gen. Leszek Suski, komendant główny Państwowej Straży Pożarnej. Władze miasta zrelacjonowały działania, które podjęły, aby pomóc poszkodowanym.
