Aż 30 zawodników usiadło przy szachownicy, aby zaprezentować swoje umiejętności w „królewskiej” grze. Za nami pasjonujący turniej, który wyłonił mistrzów Kędzierzyna-Koźla wśród amatorów.
Za organizacją rozgrywek stoi Miejski Ośrodek Sportu i Rekreacji. Uczestnicy rywalizowali ze sobą na dystansie 9 rund. Po około 5 godzinach gry wszystko było już jasne. Pierwsze miejsce zajął Mariusz Gołda. Tuż za nim uplasował się Bartosz Tracz, a podium zamknął Mieszko Miszczuk.
