Mniej wycinek, więcej natury

W Kędzierzynie-Koźlu mogą powstać lasy o tzw. zwiększonej funkcji społecznej. Taka propozycja pojawiła się podczas ostatniej sesji Rady Miasta. Oznaczałoby to ograniczenie wycinki drzew oraz zachowanie naturalnego charakteru terenów zielonych, które cieszą się dużą popularnością wśród mieszkańców.

Z inicjatywy radnej Ewy Czubek odbyło się spotkanie z przedstawicielami Nadleśnictwa Strzelce Opolskie, zarządzającego terenami wokół osiedli Kuźniczka i Cisowa. W naradzie uczestniczyła także prezydent Sabina Nowosielska.

Na razie omawiano wstępne założenia i propozycje na mapach, natomiast na wrzesień zaplanowano wizję lokalną oraz spotkanie w terenie.
