Sekcja bokserska „Chemika” Kędzierzyn-Koźle coraz śmielej wkracza na ogólnopolskie ringi. Ostatnim dużym sukcesem dla klubu była wygrana Kamila Krysiaka podczas gali PZO BOXING DAY 5 w Gliwicach.
Zawodnik z naszego miasta odniósł ważne zwycięstwo w pojedynku z Jonatanem Nowakiem reprezentującym 06 Kleofas AZS AWF Katowice. Triumf pięściarza z Kędzierzyna-Koźla jednogłośnie przypieczętowała decyzja sędziów, która zapadła po trzech dwuminutowych rundach.
W narożniku Kamila Krysiaka stał Ireneusz Przywara, utytułowany szkoleniowiec i trener kadry Polski. Najprawdopodobniej kolejnym dużym sprawdzianem dla 22-latka z Kędzierzyna-Koźla będą Mistrzostwa Polski w boksie amatorskim.
