Mroczna historia kozielskiego dworca

Ponad 80 lat temu, jesienią 1942 roku, na stacji w Koźlu rozegrała się tragedia tysięcy Żydów transportowanych z Europy Zachodniej. Na pobliskiej rampie kolejowej dokonywano selekcji.
Młodych mężczyzn kierowano do obozów pracy, pozostałych wysyłano do Auschwitz-Birkenau. Co najmniej 9 tysięcy osób wyciągniętych siłą z wagonów trafiło do obozu Blechhammer. Dziś o tych wydarzeniach przypomnieli potomkowie ofiar, przedstawiciele władz miasta oraz uczniowie z I LO im. Henryka Sienkiewicza w Kędzierzynie-Koźlu.
