Znajomość par świętujących niedawno Złote Gody w Urzędzie Stanu Cywilnego mogła się zacząć zupełnie niewinnie. Jeden z przyszłych panów młodych naprawiał elektrykę w domu rodzinnym przyszłej wybranki. Oboje okazali się później specjalistami od życia rodzinnego i – w uznaniu ich zasług dla społeczeństwa – prezydent Andrzej Duda przyznał im teraz „Medal za długoletnie pożycie małżeńskie”.
Odznaczenia wręczyła jubilatom prezydent miasta Sabina Nowosielska. Medale otrzymali: Władysława i Stanisław Kmitowie, Maria i Józef Mikołajczykowie, Marta i Henryk Nawrotowie, Urszula i Paweł Tymciowie, Teresa i Bolesław Ważny.
