Mamy jednych z najlepszych ratowników wodnych w Kraju. Aż sześciu zawodników Międzyszkolnego Uczniowskiego Klubu Sportowego WOPR Kędzierzyn-Koźle zostało powołanych do kadry narodowej.
Sportowcy, którzy na co dzień trenują pod okiem Bogdana Stańczyka i Jędrzeja Janyka będą reprezentować Polską na Mistrzostwach Świata w Australii. Są to: Victoria Kocjan, Aleksandra Cieplak, Joanna Czok, Aneta Drabik, Maksymilian Topolnicki oraz Zuzanna Kordek.
Mistrzostwa Świata (Lifesaving World Championships Gold Coast 2024) w których weźmie udział około pięciu tysięcy sportowców z pięćdziesięciu krajów rozpoczną się 20 sierpnia 2024 roku.
