Dla najmłodszych przygotowano gry i zabawy, dla nieco starszych turniej Scrabble. Rada Osiedla Zachód zaprosiła mieszkańców na imprezę integracyjną. Była to doskonała okazja do spotkania z samorządowcami i zarządem Rodzinnych Ogrodów Działkowych.
Muzykę proponował przewodniczący Rady Miasta Ireneusz Wiśniewski, rywalizację Scrabble nadzorował Poseł Paweł Masełko. Organizatorzy zadbali o dobry klimat do rozmów przy grillu i śląskich kołaczach. Uczestników imprezy pn. „Wakacje na Osiedlu” odwiedziła także Prezydent Miasta Sabina Nowosielska.
